Functional Metasurfaces: SurFunction and Precitec Join Forces
SurFunction and Precitec are forming a strategic partnership to bring functional metasurfaces into industrial manufacturing worldwide. The collaboration combines SurFunction’s ELIPSYS® laser technology with Precitec’s laser processing expertise and international sales and service network.
Precise surface structuring enables manufacturers to add specific functions to components, including reduced friction and wear, lower electrical contact resistance, and water-repellent properties.
As an international sales and service partner for ELIPSYS®, Precitec will help manufacturers access the technology and integrate it into existing production lines, supported by local technical expertise.
