Report potential vulnerabilities in Precitec products, software solutions, or digital services
The Precitec Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) is the central point of contact for reports of potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities or security-related incidents involving Precitec products, software solutions, and digital services.
Our goal is to systematically investigate reported security risks, evaluate them internally, and take appropriate action. In this way, we help our customers use Precitec products safely and reliably.

If you have discovered a potential security vulnerability in a Precitec product, software, or digital service, please use the contact form below.
If possible, please select the affected product or product group and describe the suspected vulnerability as accurately as possible. Once we receive your report, you will automatically receive a confirmation with a case number. This ID is used to uniquely identify your report and facilitate further communication regarding it.
What information should your report include?
To help us evaluate your report as effectively as possible, please provide the following information:
- Affected product, system, or software
- Product version, firmware version, or software version
- Description of the suspected vulnerability
- Steps to reproduce the issue, if possible
- Potential impacts or attack scenarios
- Available evidence, screenshots, log files, or technical details
- Your contact information for follow-up questions
Please do not submit any sensitive customer data, login credentials, or personal information unless it is absolutely necessary for the analysis.
How does Precitec handle reported vulnerabilities?
Upon receipt of the report, the Precitec PSIRT reviews the information provided and assesses its relevance to affected products, systems, or services. If necessary, internal departments are consulted to analyze the vulnerability and determine appropriate measures.
The process typically includes the following steps:
- Receipt and acknowledgment of the report
- Review and technical assessment
- Internal coordination with the relevant departments
- Development of appropriate measures, updates, or recommendations
- Communication with the reporter and, if necessary, with affected customers
Precitec treats incoming reports confidentially and works to address potential security risks in a responsible and transparent manner.
Responsible Disclosure
We ask that you refrain from publishing any information regarding a suspected security vulnerability before Precitec has had the opportunity to analyze it and, if necessary, take corrective action.
