Real-time monitoring and control of the layer height
Laser metal deposition (LMD) with wire opens up new possibilities in additive manufacturing - but process stability is crucial. With the help of an axial OCT sensor, Precitec enables real-time control of the layer height without interrupting the build process. The result: higher accuracy, stability and productivity in wire-based LMD.
