ProCutter Thunder - Precise 2D & 3D laser cutting head
For stable and efficient cutting processes in the medium power range
The ProCutter Thunder is an economically positioned laser cutting head for 2D and 3D laser cutting in the medium power range. It is suitable for flatbed systems (2D) as well as for tube, profile and 3D cutting applications and supports stable, reproducible cutting processes in industrial environments.
Within the ProCutter product family, the ProCutter Thunder complements the portfolio as a focused solution for applications with clearly defined process requirements, alongside cutting heads such as the ProCutter and ProCutter Prime. The combination of robust design, precise cutting and economical system configuration makes it particularly attractive for job stores, contract manufacturers and series production in the medium output range.
What advantages does the ProCutter Thunder offer?
High cutting quality thanks to stable sensor technology
The low-drift distance sensor system supports a consistently high cutting quality, even at high machine accelerations. The precise control of the distance between the workpiece and the cutting head contributes to clean, smooth and right-angled cutting edges with minimal burrs. In addition, the sensor system in the area of the process protection glass and the integrated cooling system ensure stable and reproducible cutting results, even in continuous operation.
Low operating costs and quick maintenance
The sophisticated design of the ProCutter Thunder allows quick and easy access to the optics. Protective lenses can be changed without tools and are characterized by high durability, which supports the service life of the optics. The result is reduced service times and lower downtime and operating costs.
Application in 2D, 3D as well as pipes and profiles
The highly dynamic drive supports short non-productive times and flexible integration into different machine concepts. The ProCutter Thunder is available for flatbed systems (2D), tube and profile cutting systems as well as for 3D free-form applications and therefore covers a wide range of industrial cutting applications.

Fieldbus communication and PLC integration
Thanks to the fieldbus connection via the CutBox Pro, the ProCutter Thunder can be quickly and easily integrated into the PLC environment.
The CutBox Pro acts as the central control unit of the laser cutting system and bundles relevant sensor signals in a compact hardware unit. Functions such as real-time focus control and the continuous recording of process data support a stable and reproducible cutting process.
